Catalan Translate for Jira
The application defines two roles: Administrator and User.
The Administrator will have access to the global page and is the only role that can perform translations, discard translations, modify existing translations, delete all data, or export/import already generated dictionaries.
The User only needs to copy the code provided by the Administrator and enter it on the home screen. After the message indicating that the configuration has been successfully completed appears, the User can refresh their space to see the translations generated by the Administrator.
On the application's global page, the Administrator will find a button in step 2 that opens the settings.
The settings page looks as follows:
The URLs will be automatically filled in. On this page, the Administrator can delete all application data as well as export/import the generated dictionaries.
Care should be taken when deleting all data, as translations will be lost. To create a backup of the translations, simply activate the export button, which will allow you to download a file that can later be imported to recover the data.
The pending translations page looks as follows:
On this page, the Administrator can translate or discard all literals that are detected. In the upper right corner, there is a search bar to find a specific literal to translate.
To perform a translation, simply fill in the field with the desired value, and the translate button will be activated. Clicking on the button will translate the literal, moving it to the translated page. On the other hand, clicking the discard button will move the literal to the discarded page and it will not be translated.
The translated page looks as follows:
In this section, you will find the translations that have already been completed. You can discard the translation or rewrite the translated value as needed.
The discard page looks as follows:
On this page, you will see the literals that have been discarded, with the option to translate them and thus recover them.
Returning to the global page of the application, in step 3, the Administrator will be able to copy the necessary code so that the User can insert it on their main page.
The User main page looks as follows:
On this page, the User must enter the code provided by the Administrator to complete the setup.
After confirming with the button, the user will receive a message indicating successful configuration on the screen. They can then close the window and refresh their space to see all the translations made.
